Ikeja City Mall Store Launch
- Burger King Nigeria
- Consumer Activation · Retail Launch · Brand Experience
- 2024
“Store number 15. 1,500 consumers engaged. 250+ burgers sold on day one. Target met, exceeded, repeated.”
Every new Burger King store launch carries the same commercial pressure: awareness before opening, footfall on launch day, and conversion that proves the location has a future. In a market as competitive as Lagos, being open is not enough. You need a reason to be chosen on day one.
Nigerians do not just respond to discounts. They respond to experiences that make them feel like they are part of something. A store launch framed as a cultural moment, with genuine entertainment, community engagement, and conversion mechanics woven together, creates not just a first sale, but a first memory.
A three-pronged activation strategy using the Valentine season as a cultural amplifier: The King’s Rove (city-wide street activation), Office Engagements (targeted corporate outreach), and a high-impact Mall Pop-Up at Ikeja City Mall. Three layers. One coherent brand moment.
The King’s Rove deployed branded rig buses, skaters, and engagement teams across Ikeja, Alausa, Ogba, Oregun, Oba Akran, Magodo, Omole, and Ojodu over two days. Office teams visited seven companies, generating leads and distributing coupons. The Mall Pop-Up featured a ribbon-cutting, face painting, games, live entertainment, and a structured engagement zone guiding guests directly into the store.
- 1,500+ consumers engaged during the mall pop-up
- 250+ contacts captured on launch day
- 250+ burgers sold on launch day: target met
